Who can join WALT?

Anyone can join WALT. WALT members are researchers, engineers, medical doctors, dentists, physiotherapists, nurses, chiropractors, manufacturers, acupuncturists etc. and there are no formal professional requirements for membership.

How do I become a member of WALT?

To become a member of WALT, you need to register online through our website and pay an annual membership fee. To register, click on the ‘Join WALT Now’ link on the homepage (under the Member Centre Banner). You will be taken to the Signup Form; here you will choose your membership type (Individual; Non-journal; Institutional; Student), payment option (WorldPay which entails using your credit card through our secure online payment system powered by WorldPay, or offline which entails making a direct bank deposit), enter your personal details (name, surname, email address, address) and create a username and password. When you have entered all the information, click on next. From here you will have to fill in your credit card information or make an offline payment. When the online payment has been selected you will receive a confirmation email that the transaction is being processed. If the payment is made offline then you need to submit the proof of payment by email to subscription@waltza.co.za for approval. After 1 to 2 days the payment will be approved and you will receive a final email stating that you are a member of WALT for the term indicated when you initially signed up. With this information you can login to WALT.

What dosage should I use?

WALT has a list of recommended treatment doses for photobiomodulation. This can be found by clicking on the ‘Recommendations’ link found under Documents and Links. If you do not find what you are looking for, you can send us an email and a WALT representative will get back to you.

How do I access articles in Laser Therapy?
Articles can be downloaded on the Laser Therapy site. Copy the complete title and paste into the search function. The article will appear and can be downloaded.
